MANUFACTURING
India is the fastest growing market for paper globally and it presents an exciting scenario for companies looking to introduce green technologies and take forward the Hon’ble Prime Minister’s initiative of ‘Make in India’.
With a large middle-class population and rising disposable incomes, the modern-day Indian is rapidly embracing consumerism and a model of online delivery-based retail.
This has created an unprecedented demand for high quality packaging paper.
In its effort to provide quality papers out of India for the domestic as well as international markets, Kushal Limited through its various associates has been using state-of-the-art machinery to manufacture a wide variety and range of Kraft Papers.
The manufacturing process for this does not involve chopping down of forests, but instead uses waste paper as raw material. This ensures we recycle existing resources and employ new, clean technologies for a more sustainable approach to development.
Kraft Paper is used mainly for corrugated boxes, multiwall sacks, and for the making of paper grocery bags, envelopes and other packaging materials.
The company’s paper divisions manufacture a wide variety of high quality Kraft Paper in a range of BF, GSM and colour mixes, all made through the process of recycling waste paper imported into India.
Currently, the group recycles over 1,76,000 tons of waste paper annually in our bid to make the world a greener place.
Duplex Boards are structurally strong and light. Because they come in two layers, they are called duplex. Often, the first layer is coated with a glossy sheen to make it water resistant, though uncoated Duplex Boards are also available for the making of disposable cups.
Duplex Boards are mainly used for making packaging material and cartons.
Colour file boards can be coated or uncoated and are available in a variety of colours. They are stiff and fold resistant, and are widely used for making stationary items such as book covers, boxes, folder covers, desk calendars, etc.
Chromo paper is one side coated art or board paper with smooth surface. The coating on one side can be glossy or matte as per customer requirement. The coating is usually done with the use of a compound or polymer to impart certain qualities to the paper, such as weight, surface gloss, smoothness, or reduced ink absorbency. KTL makes a wide variety of high quality coated paper for use in packaging and printing of labels, calendar covers and UV ray or water resistant magazine covers.
We manufacture a wide range of office documentation paper ideal for photocopy, project reports, resumes, etc. They are suitable for hassle-free and double side printing on all Inkjet and Laserjet printers.
High brightness Bristol paper provides great contrast to drawings and sketches made using pencil, ink, graphite, colour pencils, markers or pastels. The white Bristol paper is also resistant to yellowing over time.
Maplitho is made in a variety of GSMs and specifications by the company’s divisions. This paper can be ideal for end use as notebooks, novels, textbooks, examination material, diaries, computer stationery, bills, invoices and cashbooks.
Speciality grades of paper could include fluorescent/non-fluorescent index card, decorative & crepe paper, ARSR chromo paper (gutka/soap grade) and black centred artboards. These are manufactured in a wide variety of specifications.
